A new sense of Purpose

The journey of dependence is finally going to come to an end in a couple of months and brash young adults will go out and face the music of life.
Yes, my college life is about to come to an abrupt end . A journey which started On a cool fun filled September evening four years ago will end on a hot emotional and tear eyed day in April.
So the teen needs to now finally grow up and accept his responsibilities as an adult for himself his parents and his future.
So I decided to record each day of my final few days under the sun and keep on posting. Since I don't have a habit of maintaining a diary I thought why not blog instead.
So the day today started with the usual Monday morning crap of final semester. WRITE RECORD and OBSERVATION for your LAB. Can you believe it I still need to write observation and records and that too on monday morning.(Cause I am too busy rest of the week doing nothing so I have to write them just before the LAB :)) )Next thing As usual got pissed off in LAB and then came back to hostel.
But there was a surprise Guest for hostellers today. A little pup was picked up by few of my friends last evening and they bought him to hostel today.
It was real cute but unfortunately we decided to put him back in the same place cause it was looking lost and all.. That was probably the best for the pup.
Next the usual thing which I do in final semester roaming around and picking up conversation with friends whoever I meet on the way cause apparently got nothing to do these days.
With that it turned evening . Had stupid mess food (gonna miss it in few days time not the food but the conversation with friends and dinning table) and now writing the blog.

So basically had another average day.
Lets try and make tomorrow special day.
Till the ciao.

The Great Apocalypse

As I go about writing this blog a terrible tragic calamity has hit us and we should all pray for those people who are suffering from the Earthquake and Tsunami which rocked the lives of Japanese and made our days shorter, In moments like these when one introspects one realises how small humans actually are and how we are at the mercy of nature which can unleash fury and take our lives in a split second.

We must realise that despite all our technological and scientific progress we cant fight nature's will and we must also accept the truth that everything in life is not in our control.
As the horrific scenes of devastation is telecast and re telecast on the news channels my mind yearns to ask me what can we do when nature unleashes its brutal fury on us? What can we do if the fore said Apocalypse in 2012 is true? What is in store if this is the begining of the end for mankind as we know it?

The big Indian Political Drama

After all the recent scams corruption and black money charges all we Indians can do is sit back on our couches with the news on and grumble, show anger or abuse our government which continues to make a mockery of our system. At a time, when in the Middle East we are seeing historic events where people are fighting for democracy, accountability and freedom we Indians are doing nothing but just passing on the buck. Mind you all of us are in this game of putting oneself before our nation.
But the point is when do we wake up and realise that the govt. has no authority to steal our hard earned money. We all want better lives. Roads, hospitals, cleanliness of public places and we want the basic amenities plus the luxurious ones. I believe the term coined aam aadmi is one to make you happy with what you have and not desire for more. It is to prevent you from being ambitious and make your lives better and more comfortable. It also spells out our govt. intention to keep making more aam aadmi's so that they can carry on in their merry ways and be big aadmi's.
Now coming to all this drama about youth be given a chance in political hierarchy i just want to ask one simple question. WHAT IS RAHUL GANDHI'S CONTRIBUTION TO INDIA TILL NOW? WHAT POLICIES OR DECISION HAS HE TAKEN TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY BETTER? WHY DOESNT HE TAKE UP A BERTH IN THE CABINET AND DO SOME MEANINGFUL CHANGE?

He says rural India is the heart of India. Then why doesn't he become the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development minister and bring about a change in the villages of India.Merely visiting poor people's place wont change their condition. I guess the people he visited in the last 3-4 years their condition is still the same what it is now.. Then why does he try to make a difference in their condition instead of just doing media publicity.
We all believe he is a man with a conscience and a man who has it in him to change the course of our future if he decides to.
But what is equally frustrating is that in spite of knowing all this there is still no decision yet. Maybe he is scared because of the past, but one needs to realise that if you are scared you have no role in politics in India.
I just hope some sensible decisions are taken and Rahul Gandhi realises that he not only has an opportunity but also an obligation to serve the Interest of India and of his millions of supporters.

In the end all I can say is that why can't we all unite and take out peaceful protests and let govt. know that they are being held accountable by us and they cant go on making crores of moneys whiles crores of people are dying for food. i just hope one day like EGYPT and Tunisia we all can come out on the roads of DELHI and demand that our govt. to be responsible and answerable to the citizens of our country.

A Lesson learnt a litle Too late

Finally as I get down to something serious in life I too realised the benefits of corruption and having sources works everywhere not only in the government or corporate world but even in education life.
As people work harder and harder to succeed its not always the best ones who land up with the plum jobs. Its exactly the opposite. To get placed and land plump jobs you need to be good at socialising with your professors, possibly enough to have a strong influence over them, too having contacts at the right place and most importantly knowing the people who have contacts over higher authorities.
As companies come and go and in spite of the strict directive of our so called helpless training and placement officer, who in my recent discussions with him has not often forgotten to fail to tell me how hard he works and how transparent the system is, despite the fact its completely opposite to it, I have come to conclude that its totally useless and waste of time to come out and protest against the gross injustice being handed out by TPO.
Firstly students are told you can write 4 companies and then after they get placed they go back and say 1 company per person. Making us all aware that if we bypass that law our offers will be canceled and that we would be debarred from other companies if we write the next 1.
But making a true mockery of the whole system here people strangely have no photo id identifications so any1 can go and write the exams.
But here your contacts come in. If you know you placement coordinator well and have some influence over him he might allow you to right exams for more than 1 company, even if you are placed.
So at the end we have people here who have 3 to 4 jobs and other who have none. No hard feelings those who have more than 1 cause they have their sources at the right places.
Its just unfortunate that its not a level playing field. When you meet the TPO he will say he knows who has been placed where and he knows people with more than 1 job. I say its crap cause if he knew what action was taken
HOW COME PEOPLE HAVE 3 JOBS THEN FORGET 2
ITS JUST SHAMBOLIC WHATS GOING ON HERE CAUSE A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD IS ALL WHAT WE WANT. ALSO STOP THE PRACTICE OF PEOPLE WRITING FOR OTHER CAUSE THOSE WHO HAVEN'T BEEN PLACED YET AND ARE WRITING THEIR OWN EXAMS ITS UNFAIR AGAINST THEM WHEN SOME TOPPERS ARE WRITING FOR SOME OTHER CANDIDATES.
Its an article here to make you aware of what is happening. So friends if some company comes and you really want to go and write please go ahead and do cause i dont think the system will change or it ever changes. What does change is people
So get out, go ahead and be corrupt, socialise and have your contacts in place
TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT......

Another year is about to end. A question keeps on burning inside me?
Am I closer to my destiny?
What is my destiny?
Am I closer to what I WAnted to achieve or am I further away from reality?
Have i Grown intellectually and personally?
Am i a better person than I was a year ago?
I might be sounding philosophical but these are the questions which are nagging me right now. I do need to find the answers to them sooner rather than later.
May be some soul searching is needed.
Or maybe I have got used to the loneliness Inside me that I have begun to question and doubt my abilities.
I dont know what is true but one thing which I always remember when I was growing up was that I never backed down from a challenge.
So why have I now become so scared of the unknown? So scared of what the future might hold for me?
i know the answers to most of these questions are inside me.
Need to stop doubting myself and put my plans into actions.
So whats the need to blog about this stupidity?
Every one in life has problems and everyone faces them
Its maybe cause I have nothing else to do so I started to blog again. Since nothing is going on inside my grey areas as if they got disconnected or something so I decided to post whatever is going through me right now. Hopefully after decoding what I have written thru my sensory nerves my Brain cells start working again and I get something better yo post to..
Till then c ya ,,,,

Maybe we need a return of the old system.

Its been long time since my last blog post and I am sorry for not keeping it updated.
A new thought just came to my mind.

With all the financial turmoil, inflation, recession and what not may be we need to go back to our roots.
Maybe we need to revert back to the good old barter system.
The barter system in today's world impossible!!!!!!!

Impossible it may sound when everything is linked to dollar and gold in today's world .

From the rice to the gold everything is ruled by commodity prices.

How about changing that system.
Lets say start a company.
I suppose say make bread.
Lets me sell that bread to companies not retail.
In exchange of that bread I ask them for fertilizers of equal worth.
The fertilizers I give to the farmer in exchange of wheat.

Its just a small and stupid example.
Obviously the world is not simple since you might ask what about laborers and electric expenses rent, overhead, interest etc. etc.
But what we really need today is go back somehow to that old system cause money linked
systems have resulted in creation of services and not goods.
Plus with the ever growing population we need to feed millions of people.
So probably the socialist way and communist way to go about in todays world especially in rural areas is the barter system.
Since the requirements of these people are not that high and the means to make everyone live a decent standard of living is too go back to this system.

Cause it will create a system such that essential commodities are grown and people will be able to afford them.
Maybe a food of thought for everyone!!!!

The Big Budget Hope

The enormous hope and expectation before a budget that really was seen as the second 1991 in terms of reform. The hope and the excitement and the real sense of purpose that finally a pro reformist and a pro growth government would really reform the policies of India that would really stimulate growth in India. A upa government without being pulled down by the bragging powers of Left really spelt great days of economic reforms for us.
But I am sorry to say Mr. Pranab Mukherjee and Mr. Manmohan Singh that if this is what woukd you want us to believe that this government is reformist one I am sorry to say that you have disappointed us.

No mention on pension reforms bill, excessive government spending, disinvestment and a 6.8% fiscal deficit means where the hell are we heading for sir.
Are you trying to sell us that by increasing spending on Indira awas Yojna and Nrega you are actulaaly creating infratructure sir.
IIFCL to get 1,00,000 crore of loans to infrastructure projects. But there were no major project announcements sir.
Also if you are raising the amount of government spending and shooting your expense proportion then the more you borrow the higher you will have interest rates in the market sir. That is what I understand a simple human being. The more one borrow the higher interest one pays at higher interest rate, so the RBI gets less room to lower rates and hence the banks refuse to lower rates leading to high loan rates for corporate India.
Also I am concerned that the signals you send on nationalization of banks and on those front will send contrasting signals to the FII's.
There is no reforms or mention of Insurance bill which every one wants to pass through. Instead of raising exemption by a trifle one could at least lower tax rates to give relief to people.
Corporate sector could also have been given a relief by providing them with a 5p.c relief in the tax rates.
I know taht 70 p.c. of population depend on agriculture and there are many people living Bpl BUT THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER SECTION THE ONE WHICH IS LEADING INDIA IMAGE WORLDWIDE THE CORPORATE WORLD AND THAT UNFORTUNATELY HAS BEEN COMPLETELY IGNORED IN THIS BUDGET AT A TIME WHEN THEY NEEDED A HELPING HAND.
How can you account for an increase in 56 p.c. in non budget spending. This is something not understood by me .All this playing to gallery and vote bank politics might be good for the party but It will lead india nowhere. When the whole world was watching you sir you disappointed them big time. Dont know how much more can they be left disappointed.
The abolition of FBT was probably one of the best decsion taken in budget.
A roadmap for implementation of GST would be welcome.
Overall a populist budget which unfortunately will not be popular among the taxpayers in India and the real growth drivers of our country.
The budget disappointed me bug time cause Mr. Mukherjee this was the time when you could have really turned the world heads towards you.
