The big Indian Political Drama

After all the recent scams corruption and black money charges all we Indians can do is sit back on our couches with the news on and grumble, show anger or abuse our government which continues to make a mockery of our system. At a time, when in the Middle East we are seeing historic events where people are fighting for democracy, accountability and freedom we Indians are doing nothing but just passing on the buck. Mind you all of us are in this game of putting oneself before our nation.
But the point is when do we wake up and realise that the govt. has no authority to steal our hard earned money. We all want better lives. Roads, hospitals, cleanliness of public places and we want the basic amenities plus the luxurious ones. I believe the term coined aam aadmi is one to make you happy with what you have and not desire for more. It is to prevent you from being ambitious and make your lives better and more comfortable. It also spells out our govt. intention to keep making more aam aadmi's so that they can carry on in their merry ways and be big aadmi's.
Now coming to all this drama about youth be given a chance in political hierarchy i just want to ask one simple question. WHAT IS RAHUL GANDHI'S CONTRIBUTION TO INDIA TILL NOW? WHAT POLICIES OR DECISION HAS HE TAKEN TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY BETTER? WHY DOESNT HE TAKE UP A BERTH IN THE CABINET AND DO SOME MEANINGFUL CHANGE?

He says rural India is the heart of India. Then why doesn't he become the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development minister and bring about a change in the villages of India.Merely visiting poor people's place wont change their condition. I guess the people he visited in the last 3-4 years their condition is still the same what it is now.. Then why does he try to make a difference in their condition instead of just doing media publicity.
We all believe he is a man with a conscience and a man who has it in him to change the course of our future if he decides to.
But what is equally frustrating is that in spite of knowing all this there is still no decision yet. Maybe he is scared because of the past, but one needs to realise that if you are scared you have no role in politics in India.
I just hope some sensible decisions are taken and Rahul Gandhi realises that he not only has an opportunity but also an obligation to serve the Interest of India and of his millions of supporters.

In the end all I can say is that why can't we all unite and take out peaceful protests and let govt. know that they are being held accountable by us and they cant go on making crores of moneys whiles crores of people are dying for food. i just hope one day like EGYPT and Tunisia we all can come out on the roads of DELHI and demand that our govt. to be responsible and answerable to the citizens of our country.
